Conceptualized to be an immaculate representation of the j. Custom series, this RG combines gorgeous elements with detailed handwork to achieve the ideal vision of this highly desirable series. The appeal of this guitar is the richness and complexity of its design. The guitar is adorned with a luxurious transparent dark blue finish, complemented beautifully by the gold hardware and cream-colored DiMarzio pickups. The outstanding figuring on the Quilted Maple top, combined with the waves and reflections of the Tree of Life inlay, invokes the impression of hypnotic kinetic motion. Finally, this artisan-crafted j. Custom RG reveals one more enticing characteristic: neck-thru construction, which affords enhanced playability, added comfort, and a dynamic aesthetic not usually seen on production-level j. Customs.

Custom-style instrument, the neck-thru design on this guitar affords the player next-level comfort and totally unrestricted access to the entire range of the fretboard, as well as truly impressive sustain. The neck-thru design paired with the 5-piece neck and center block also creates impressive visuals on the back of the instrument.

- Make any adjustments so the neck is straight to avoid any fret buzzing and for comfort
- Check the nut and nut slots for any adjustments/filing to prevent any tuning issues, as well as for comfort at the lower frets
- Make any adjustments to the bridge/tremolo system so it’s in the proper position for tuning stability
- Set the action to a height that feels comfortable for each guitar
- Set the intonation so you’re in tune everywhere on the neck

Really, there's no sales tax?
There's no sales tax outside of TN. Since we're a small business, we only have to collect sales tax on in-state orders.

Can I request a setup w/ my preferred strings?
Yes, but that will come at additional charge that varies depending on the guitar. Our Pro-Tech Setup is free for every guitar using its stock strings.
Do you ship internationally?

In short, please allow us up to three business days to ship your guitar. We do our Pro-Tech setups right before the guitar leaves us so that it is ready to play once it reaches you. Normally, it only takes a day or two for us to ship out your guitar.
